Katrina Sousounis

A dancer and aspiring lawyer bridging the worlds of art, justice, and climate advocacy.

She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Bryn Mawr College and currently serves as a Paralegal Specialist at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. With a background in local and state-level environmental policy and involvement with internationally-minded organizations like Girl Up and USCIB, she hopes to work in international climate policy after law school.

As a company dancer with Capital Ballet, she performs classical and contemporary ballet repertoires locally, exploring movement as a form of expression and dialogue. Katrina’s dual background in law and the arts shapes her interdisciplinary approach to climate engagement, which led her to ClimArts. At ClimArts, she brings an enthusiastic, mission-driven approach to research, writing, and outreach initiatives. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, tea, and exploring botanical gardens.
